I designed a joyful yoga mat for small, ethical UK brand AndFlow! Meet the Twister mat!
Here’s the story behind the creation: As I was imagining my dream mat the same shapes kept coming back in my mind. Fun, quirky shapes evoking movement and the spirit of yoga...Shapes to keep youinspired and active on the mat. I was also reminded of a time playing Twister as a kid and how fun it would be to create a yoga mat a little bit like a twister mat (hand here, foot here) - except more elevated and modern. I love the idea of having shapes evoking moods and natural elements (all linked to yoga) and playing with colour to bring life into it. Creating abstract shapes is a lovely way to keep the yogi guessing and dreaming.
